Dan King - Musical Instrument Store

Dan King

Dan is a retired Marine who spent 12 years in the Marine Corps Band playing trumpet and repairing instruments. Dan worked as an apprentice for several years at three different Marine Corps Bands and then attended Red Wing Technical College in Minnesota, graduating with a 4.0 in the Band Instrument Repair Program. He also holds an M.A. in Resource Management. While stationed in Southern California, he provided service for local music stores and schools. He has performed professionally across the Pacific Rim, for President Bush, and with the late Michael Kamen. His last 11 years in the Marine Corps were spent as a logistics officer. Dan is a member of NAPBIRT (National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians).

Ricia King

Ricia is a North Carolina native who graduated with a Bachelor of Science Marketing Degree from UNCG and spent 10 years as a flight attendant with US Airways. As a Marine Corps spouse, she had the privilege of helping other spouses as a Readiness and Deployment Specialist for Marine Corps Family Team Building. She is now the business owner of FIDELIS Musical Instruments. Ricia is a member of NASMD (National Association of School Music Dealers) and NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants).
